VR Digi VET
Strengthening the VR digital skills of VET staff and students in Albania through (and on) the use of immersive digital technologies
The Albanian VR Metaverse for VET
One of the most innovative elements of the project is the creation of the Albanian VR Metaverse for VET, a public digital space dedicated to vocational education and training.
The metaverse will be designed as a web-based environment accessible both through VR headsets and via the Internet. Within this space, public and private institutions, VET centres, companies, schools, universities and international partners will be able to access virtual rooms, immersive tools, personalised avatars, 360° videos, 3D objects and open digital libraries.
This environment will make it possible to transform traditional training catalogues into immersive learning experiences, reshaping conventional VET roles — such as coordinators, tutors, trainers and evaluators — within new digital learning spaces.

Impact
VR Digi VET aims to contribute to the digital transformation of the VET system in Albania, making it more innovative, inclusive, flexible and labour market-oriented.
The project will support the modernisation of vocational training pathways, promote new teaching methodologies and provide VET students and professionals with practical tools to address the challenges of the digital transition.
In the long term, VR Digi VET will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the Albanian VET system, improving youth employability and fostering stronger cooperation between the public sector, the private sector and the education system.
