As part of Work Package 4 – Capacity Building, VR DigiVET organised two training laboratories for VET teachers and instructors in Albania.
The first training laboratory took place in Valona from 19 January to 6 February 2026, while the second was organised in Tirana from 9 to 27 February 2026. The decision to organise two separate laboratory-based sessions allowed the consortium to ensure high-quality interaction, improved logistical management and broader institutional outreach.
The training was designed as a bridge between the digital skills curriculum developed under WP2 and the immersive digital infrastructure created under WP3. Its main objective was to equip VET teachers and instructors with the digital, pedagogical and technical competences needed to implement the new curriculum with their students.
Participants followed a four-module pathway covering 3D modelling and immersive content creation, interaction design in VR, virtual reality development and optimisation, and video editing. The laboratories combined theoretical instruction, practical exercises and immersive activities within the VR DigiVET Training Academy platform.
