The VR DigiVET project has officially started its journey to support the modernisation of vocational education and training in Albania through the use of immersive digital technologies.
The project aims to strengthen the digital skills of VET teachers, instructors and students by developing innovative training curricula and a dedicated digital infrastructure. Through this approach, VR DigiVET will contribute to improving the quality of vocational education, supporting employability and encouraging the adoption of new teaching and learning methods based on virtual reality, augmented reality and digital tools.
The project activities will focus on assessing the most relevant digital skills needed by VET staff and students, developing curricula to be adopted at national level, creating the digital infrastructure needed to deliver training, and piloting the new ecosystem with Albanian VET institutions.
By combining education, innovation and immersive technologies, VR DigiVET seeks to provide practical and future-oriented solutions for the Albanian VET system, supporting both teachers and learners in the digital transition.
